Dehydrated Shiitake Mushrooms

Light to dark brown umbrella like cap with tan gills. Stems are smooth and fibrous. Rich earthy umami flavour with a meaty texture. Used in stir fries, soup, sauces and topping for grilled dishes. Shiitake mushrooms are a popular meat substitute.

Usage instructions: To use, soak in warm water for 15-20 minutes (until desired texture). Reserve water to be used in soup, stew or sauce.
